Unlike sunlight, heilys offers targeted light wavelengths without harmful UV rays. It allows for concentrated treatment in a short time and can be performed at home, regardless of weather conditions.

Yes, there is a so-called "biphasic dose response" in photobiomodulation. An excessively high dose of light can reduce the positive effect. Therefore, we recommend limiting the application to 10-20 minutes per illuminated area at a distance of 15-50 cm.

Yes, the application is safe and non-invasive. When used correctly, there are few known side effects. However, it is recommended to protect your eyes during application and maintain a safe distance from the device.

For optimal results, we recommend a distance of 15-60 cm, depending on the area being treated, and a duration of 10-20 minutes per session. Here are some specific recommendations:
- Skin health : 45-60 cm distance for approximately 8 minutes.
- Joint pain : 15-30 cm distance for about 10 minutes.
- Muscle regeneration : 15-30 cm distance for approximately 12 minutes.
- Increase energy level : Maintain a distance of 30-60 cm for approximately 10 minutes.
- Wound healing : 15 cm distance for approximately 7 minutes.
- Sleep improvement : 30-45 cm distance for approximately 7 minutes.
- Weight loss : 15 cm distance for approximately 10 minutes.
Multiple sessions per day are possible, however the total time for a specific area should not exceed 30 minutes per day, divided into 2-3 sessions.

The session can be held at any time of day:
- In the morning : To boost energy and improve mood.
- Afternoon : For relaxation and muscle regeneration after physical activity.
- In the evening : To promote relaxation and prepare the body for sleep. Ideally, use about 1-2 hours before bedtime.
For evening applications, we recommend the invisible NIR spectrum to avoid overstimulation.

The panels differ only in their irradiation area and the number of LEDs used. This allows for more cells to be stimulated simultaneously in a single session, depending on the panel size. All other functions and features are identical across all panels, including the same six wavelengths, app control, and dimming function.

To protect your eyes, especially for sensitive individuals or during evening use, we include protective goggles. These protect your eyes from potential overstimulation caused by bright light. Wearing the goggles is not mandatory – you can simply close your eyes during use.

The red spectrum (RED) is absorbed more superficially and is particularly effective for skin health. The NIR spectrum penetrates deeper into the tissue and is ideal for treating deeper tissues such as muscles and joints.

Both spectra are often used together because they have a synergistic effect. For evening applications, we recommend the NIR spectrum to avoid disrupting sleep quality.

The panels operate with ultra-quiet fans and produce only minimal noise. The noise level is approximately 36 dB at a distance of 15 cm and approximately 33 dB at a distance of 50 cm.
